Dog And Cat Toys
People all over the world have dogs and cats as pets and they are considered a part of the family. What better way to entertain your pets than to buy them some toys to play with. Dogs and cats both need entertainment or they may end up out of shape and lazy so you should get a good selection for them. There are tons of different toys available for both dogs and cats and you can get them in a wide variety of places and with all kinds of special features.
Dogs are usually much more active than cats and will need larger more durable toys. Dogs love to fetch, run, bark, and chase things. To help them out, one of the best toys is a simple ball or other toy you can throw. Your dog will have hours of fun chasing its toy around the park, beach, or woods. Some dogs may be too young or old to do this and there are alternatives for them also. Many puppies like to chew on rubber bones while they are teething and these make great toys for them. Older dogs may enjoy soft toys such as stuffed animals and squeaky latex items that won't hurt their teeth.
Cats require toys that are very different from dogs. Cats enjoy stalking, pouncing, and clawing at things as opposed to fetching and running around. Some of the best toys are sticks with ribbons at the end you can drag all over the place while your cat “hunts” it. This is great exercise for your cat and encourages them to develop their natural instincts and put them to use. Laser toys are also a lot of fun because your cat will chase that red dot anywhere you feel like beaming it.
Dogs and cats require toys to play with especially if you work all day or aren't home that often. Your pets will get bored and lonely and may exhibit undesirable behaviors such as pooping on the floor and tearing up your furniture. A good supply of toys may help in this area but isn't guaranteed to stop their behavior.
